Culture and Leisure Policies Project

Partners: Municipality of Pitea and the municipalities of Forlì, Bertinoro and Scandiano.

Length of the project: 10 months (2008)

Objectives: -Develop local policies related to youth and school democracy, culture, sport and activities for functionally disabled people.
-Interaction among different actors (public organisations, NGOs in the field of culture and leisure.
- Tools to increase social inclusion in different frameworks


Activities: 4 days event with plenary session, working groups and study visits.


Results: identification of several possible areas of cooperation in particular: youth exchanges in the music field, sport activities for disabled people in order to increase social inclusion, health maintenance with school activities.
The project has led to a Grundtvig Learninig partnership between Forli and Pitea for Sport trainers and the participation of many teams to the Pitea Summer Games Tournament. In August 2009 a delegation of Pitea participated at the Olimpiadi del Tricolore in Reggio Emilia and were hosted in Scandiano.
