STAFF EXCHANGE

About the project

The pre-school staff exchange project was one of the first experiences of SERN in the field of education, it started in 2008 and ended in 2010. The idea of this project came from the common need of SERN members to improve the quality of educational services though job shadowing experiences in Sweden and Italy.

Objectives

  1. To deepen the knowledge on the organizational settings in which the pre-schools operate and on the educational services they offer, with particular attention given to the value of the pedagogical environment both indoor and outdoor, to the process of interaction as well as to the value transmitted by the educators;
  2. To analyse how the working schemes are organized for the benefit and growth of the “competent child”;
  3. To examine how the pre-school family relation is organized.
